PROJECT 1 - SITE ANALYSIS

For the first project, we are given a site —— JaoTim, which located at 61, Jalan Sultan, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.

We are equally distribute into 5 group among our classmate.

Different task had been given specifically to each group :

Group 1 - Physical studies

Group 2 - Art and Cultural

Group 3 - Building Analysis & Interior

Group 4 - Site Measurement & Drawings

Group 5 - Model [5a - Site model]

[5b - Space model]

I'm in group 1 doing the physical studies with Kristie,Celeste,YikJuinn,YokeShuang,Xiang

Ming,Max.

To be more specifically,

I'm incharge for the maps, traffic flow, pedestrian flow and also the transportation to surrounding Jao Tim.

Before going to collect the data and study about Jao Tim, I first create the map for atleast 2km radius to understand more about the surrounding of Jao Tim. Also to make it easier for all of us later to plot our our data visually

In order to understand and get more accurate data, I went to Jao Tim quite a few time just to stand there for an hour to observe and do some simple head count to collect data for the pedestrain flow and also walk around the surrounding of Jao Tim

Beside observing and collecting data manually, i also used waze as a external source to get more accurate traffic flow data for each time.
