GROUP 3: WALL and FLOOR TRANSFORMATION
For this project, I'm in Group 3 which in charge for the wall and floor and further divided into 3 sub group which is wall, floor, window and door.
And I'm in WINDOW and DOOR subgroup.

WHAT WE WANT TO DO :

Remove all the window pieces from window frame.

Clean the window pieces (for those that is still in good condition).

Make new window pieces using wood.

Sand and paint the new window pieces.
-
Clean and sand the window frame.
-
Re-paint the old window pieces.
-
Re-paint the window frame.
-
Fix the window pieces to window frame back together.

DOOR

Remove the door that is not in good condition.

Make new door using wood such as timber.
-
Sand the new door.
-
Paint the new door.
-
Clean and paint the old door that is in good condition.
-
Clean and re-paint the door frame.(assuming door frame is in good condition),

Attach the door back to the door frame.

And so we proposed our proposal during the meeting and get adviced by the lecturer to reduce the cost.
We confirmed to use epoxy as the flooring and also finalised the other materials and also the mural art design.
Also at the presentation day
we listen to the proposal of the other group.
LET'S DO THIS
We separated into a few day to went to the site to do the task. Certain group need to go the site at the early phrases and some group are important at the late phrase.
Our group went to the site at the date given which is

Each member is required to go to the site and do the task for one time.

Although I'm in the window and doors subgroup,Im supposed to go at 15.06.2019 but due to 8.06.2019 is our Raya break and there are not many people left in town so after discussion i switched to help on the flooring subgroup.
On the day, there was only me, Royce Kota, Villson, Fong Yeh Cherng and Jim Hang.
We gathered in campus at 8:50am and leave at 9am to Serendah Library. And we reached the site at around 10pm.
We started by cleaning up the library, moving out all the stuff .
After that we start cleaning it with soap and water.

When we're done with the cleaning it's already 11am and we waited it to dry for 15mins then we start to fix the crack and hole on the floor with the filling.
then we waited it to dry while having our lunch.
due to multimedia team is not there, we have not much photo as we have quite limited time to finish the flooring and we can only help each other to take some picture only.
it was really satisfying to me after the hole and crack line are covered with the filling!

After we filled the hole and crack line with the filling, we need to let it dry before we apply the epoxy.
so we had our lunch while waiting for it :D

After we had our lunch, we mixed the epoxy and start to apply the flooring.
But unfortunately, the weather is not that good on the day, it tooks a really long time to just dry a little bit .
This was my first time doing flooring related things。
It was fun but end up my hand muscle and butt muscle was so painful 😭
After applied the first layer of epoxy！
As the weather is not sunny enough, it actually took us more time than what we expected to dry up, so we couldnt apply second layer. we can only try to walk carefully and touch up the side and also some obvious part.
As the day is going to turn dark, we started to move all the stuff to the library's store room and start to prepare to go back to campus.
And so, we managed to finish the touch up and get everything done by 6pm
and we reached campus at 7pm.

It was a really good experience to me although it was really tiring, but i do learned new skills such as how to apply the filling and epoxy flooring and made some effort to give others some better environment. Im just quite sad that i cant make it to witness the launching of the serendah library.
