So, for the final project , we are using the exact same location as project 1 site analysis which is Jao Tim, located at 61, Jalan sultan, Kuala Lumpur.(Nearby Petaling street)
And our final project is actually related to our project 2 subject matter which is our chosen forgotten culture

For my project 2 chosen forgotten culture is actually Sheng, a traditional Chinese wind instrument. And so, My final project space is designed mainly for the Musician age range from 4 to 65.
It consist of a few space for the musician to carry out the specific activities such as music class, performances and etc.
The major space which is the performance area and the waiting area are designed with the keyword i explored and found in project 2. While the other space, I also try to design to make it more fun for the musician.

The main direction is to make the interior feel more comfy and nature , also trying to bring in a little chinese element into the interior.
Shengatelier
I name it Sheng Atelier because its a space only for the sheng lover where people came here to learn or have time spent with sheng
tHE MAJOR SPACE
My major space is actually just right after the entrance.
After entering from the entrance, the first thing people access is either the seating area / reception / gallery area. which is all the public accessing area.
The space is designed to be integrated yet separated which the waiting area can serve as audience seat when there is performance going on.
There is a ramp / slide to let people burn their time while waiting also providing easy access from place to place.
There is a sound track area located at side where is it separated from the seating area by the column structure modify from my conceptual model which act as a zonning partition. But at the same time, during performance time, audience can still choose the sit there to enjoy the show.

There is also a vending machine built-in at the major space for people to purchase some light snack and drinks.
The reception is placed at the place where it have the best visual to every spot of the public access including the seating area, performance area, soundtrack area, slide and also the gallery area so that the person incharge can have things in control easily.

Due to the interior is meant for music purpose, the wall finishes material i have selected one side of the wall is using fabric with backing to act as sound absorb to reduce the reflection of sound. but i still keep one side of the wall with corrara and nero marquina marble finishes to not absorb away all the details of the sound. also to create a more contrasting and luxury interior.
GALLERY AREA
The gallery is a small area that had a Sheng instrument displaying with some brief history board with the wall alongside for people to understand more about it.

The activity area is a empty space for people to carry out different activities such as
orchestra rehearsal. It also could be a standing zone for people to enjoy the performance.
