The Extraordinary Superhero First Trial Writting

“HULK SMASH!” by Hulk and soon he successfully beaten down the Abomination. This is the moment that Hulk proved that he are the Superhero who save the city from Abomination. There is a lot of hero but not very hero is a superhero, while in my perspective and based on my research, Hulk is not only a superhero, Hulk is an extraordinary superhero! But what make Hulk so special and what make him an extraordinary superhero? To begin with, let’s look at Hulk’s outlook. Hulk is a green-skinned, hulking and muscular gigantic superhero. Based on my study, green is the colour of life which represents nature, renewal and energy. Before we go further for Hulk’s superpower and other details, Hulk was already special just by his outlook compare to other superhero as Hulk doesn’t have any fancy specific suit, costume or weapon like other superman does. Hulk was naturally green in skin colour when he transform from Bruce Banner which have common human skin colour as most of the other superhero does. Beside from skin colour, Hulk doesn’t require any ‘extra stuff’ to let others recognise about him, for illustration, Superman is well known for his cape, tight suit with big S in the middle and underwear at the outside of the suit; Spiderman is known for his red colour web-looking suit covering his whole body from head to toes. By looking at Hulk’s size, Hulk was huge in size while other superhero mostly maintain at their human body size even after transformation. Hulk was also the superhero who has most different physical change and emotional change between the superhero stage and normal human stage compare to other superhero. The size of Hulk and his muscular looks also visualise his superhuman strength and also superhuman durability, the only unexpected is that although Hulk has a hulking appearance but his speed of moving are actually fast. In short, although Hulk have no any specific fancy suit, costume or weapon but Hulk is still highly recognised superhero. To talk about Hulk’s superpower, Hulk is not born with the superpower. Hulk was originally Bruce Banner with no superpower but only genius intellect. To me, before Bruce Banner transform into Hulk, he is already a hero as he saved Jones and he himself got hit with the blast, absorbing massive amount of Gamma radiation. Banner is already extraordinary as he is still alive awaken later seemingly unscratched, as if this gamma radiation hits the other people, the people might have just died directly. And due to this incident, Banner accidentally gained the superpower. The superpower that Hulk gained is different from other superhero as it does not depends on any external support and the characteristics of the superpower, superhuman strength and durability, fire and bulletproof made Hulk immortal as almost nothing can kills him. Although Banner gained a superpower which make him a superhero, but what I noticed is that at first Banner did not want this superpower as he wished to live a normal human life as Hulk’s superpower can save the world but in a mean time his superpower can also ruin the world. Hulk’s level of strength is normally conveyed as proportionate to his level of anger which mean that Hulk’s superpower could be defined as no upper limit. Most of the critic about Hulk is that he is emotionally unstable which cause Hulk hardly to control his super power and as a superhero he harmed some of the people before saving the city which against the stereotype of superhero will not harm any innocent from the starting till the end. From the movie “The Incredible Hulk”, what make me see that Hulk is an extraordinary superhero is that he try very hard not to transform into Hulk, he sacrifice himself to leave his loves one Betty and go to another city to learn how to reduce the chances of him transform into Hulk to avoid the city to be ruins. He learns yoga, using the inhale techniques to reduce his heart beat rate. He even contacted the cellular biologist scientist hoping to make an antidote to fully get rid of his superpower. But at last he conquered his anger and got control of his superpower and even used his superpower to protect Betty from the fire. How can you not agree that Hulk is a superhero when the power he has to ruin the world is easier than to control it but he still choose to control it, not letting his anger to take over his conscious. The superpower Hulk has is also different with other superhero as some of the superhero was born with the superpower and some of their superpower depends on their weapon or costume. But we can see that most of the superhero did not face much difficulty when using their superpower as they are born with or are able to control by themselves easily such as Iron man. Hence, Hulk actually faced more challenges on handling the superpower he has. Hulk need to be more mentally strong than the other superhero as he might be monster as if he lost the control of his superpower. The superpower Hulk has is really hard to control can be proved as the Abomination is the best prove of that if he failed to control his superpower, he will be a monster. Another point that I said that Hulk is an extraordinary superhero is that when he still not really sure that he could control his superpower but he still willing to fight with the Abomination when the city is in danger. By vision, Abomination looks much more stronger than Hulk as Abomination have thorn-like bone structure on its back and the face of Abomination looks more fierce. And even facing another monster which has the same power as him, he still able to eliminate the monster and save the city prove that Hulk is really an extraordinary superhero. In a nutshell, Hulk is a superhero is not only because he is strong and the superpower he has, Hulk is an extraordinary superhero as he willing to control of himself not to become Hulk when he is in Banner stage as he doesn’t want to harm anyone, Hulk find out a lots of way to control himself when he used his superpower, try not to destroy and harm anyone is also an action of saving the world as not forgetting the power he have is able to ruin the world, and Hulk successfully made it not only to control his superpower, he even manage to have the Hulk’s superpower in Banner’s stage. Superpower is not what made you a superhero, but also your heart, kindness and consciousness to sacrifice for the world make you a Superhero just like what Hulk had taught me.
